The Opportunity
The same 48-acre island had a second side: quieter water, different aspect, no infrastructure on it.
Extending the resort onto it would have added rooms without adding a reason to come. The opportunity was a distinct product for a guest the resort does not serve.
The Business
Serenity Sands operates as island glamping: tented accommodation with its own arrival, dining and pace, positioned for guests who want the island without the resort around them.
It shares the site, the boat transfer and the back-of-house, so a second business runs on infrastructure that already exists.
