The Opportunity
A 48-acre private island close to the Fijian mainland, with the scale to hold a resort and the seclusion guests travel for.
The opportunity was not the land on its own. It was the combination of a private island setting and an operating business capable of earning from it year-round.
The Business
Serenity Island Resort operates as a barefoot island resort in the Mamanuca Islands, with beachfront and garden accommodation, dining, water activities and a spa.
A second concept, Serenity Sands, was later created on the quieter side of the same island, adding a distinct island glamping product within the wider destination without duplicating the resort.
ATHAR’s Role
Created and operated by ATHAR. The involvement runs from the asset and the operating model through to day-to-day operation.
Operating the resort directly is also what produced ResortPulse: owner-level hospitality intelligence built because existing systems did not answer the questions an owner needs answered.
